Together We Save Lives
Animal Charity is Mahoning County’s only humane society and a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a full-service vet clinic. Every year, countless animals suffer from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Our affordable services fund lifesaving rescue work and public education on responsible pet care. You can make a difference—report cruelty, use our vet clinic, donate, or adopt a rescued pet.
Bigger Facility, More Lives Saved
— Opened in 2024, our new facility is over 22,000 sq. ft. and currently houses over 200 animals.

—The cost of care per animal in our shelter is $15 a day, but that doesn’t include emergency care or ongoing expenses for medical needs.

Our New Location
Please note that while our address is listed as Southern Boulevard, we are not located on the main stretch of Southern Boulevard.
Our new location is on Envelope Terrace, right off of Southern Blvd. Depending on which direction you are arriving from, either just before or just after the railroad tracks, you will turn onto a smaller street called Envelope Terrace. Here you will pass several "warehouses" and continue on to the furthest building back.
